I opened CHA CHA TEA in Kingston Ontario in 2006.
I have about 100 different kinds of tea and tisanes from around the world.
The most popular tea at my store is Japanese Green Tea.
I am very happy that I can share good Japanese Green Tea with people in Kingston!!

I was born and grew up in Osaka Japan, a city with a population of about 8.8 million. I came to Canada in 1994 to learn English and to get experience living outside of Japan. After I moved to Kingston from Toronto in 2004, it was very difficult for me to get very good and fresh Japanese Green Tea here in Kingston. That is how I came up with the idea. Why not start a tea shop and get Japanese green tea directly from tea farms in Japan?
I found a very nice location. The size is perfect for my little tea shop and my landlords are super nice people.
Finally, with my family's understanding and support, I started CHA CHA TEA.

My new journey has just begun.
I chat with a lot of people about tea and ideas about the store. I also talk about life, business, kids, culture etc. I enjoy being at CHA CHA TEA every day. Please come to my store. You are always my guest.
