Claudia Coutu Radmore is a poet, artist, and publisher. Her lyric and short-form poetry has been published widely, and anthologized internationally. She launched her first book of haiku, The Business of Isness (Éditions des petits nuages, Ottawa), at the 40th anniversary meeting of Haiku Canada in May 2017. Her publishing company, catkin press, launched four books of poetry this year. She is also the author of several chapbooks, and editor of a volume of collected letters: Arctic Twilight: Leonard Budgell and Canada’s Changing North (Blue Butterfly Books, Dundern Press, 2009).   • This haiku has the quality of a Vermeer painting to it. Lit from above, the reader can imagine the delicate hand of a young woman as it painstakingly seeks to bring edge to edge on a favourite tea cup.
    Ms. Radmore’s haiku are poetry/art of the finest kind.
