🌿 Kebaonish Tea Journey β€” Week 4: Bravery (Aakdehewin)

🌿 Kebaonish Tea Journey β€” Week 4: Bravery (Aakdehewin)

Our Kebaonish Tea Journey continues this week.

Last week, we continued with Respect (Mnaadendiwin). This week, we move on to the fourth tea in our seven-week journey β€” Bravery (Aakdehewin).

🐻 Bravery (Aakdehewin)

The fourth tea in our Kebaonish Tea Journey is Bravery (Aakdehewin), represented by the Bear.

The Bear symbolizes fearlessness and strength. This teaching reminds us to stand up for what we believe in and to protect those who need our help.

For me, I think bravery is not always about doing something big or dramatic. Sometimes, it can simply mean finding the courage to do what we know is right.

🍡 A Cup of Bravery

The Kebaonish Bravery tea is a black tea blend.

For me, what makes this tea special is its strong and bold character.

It has the familiar sweet aroma of a good, full-bodied black tea, with a smooth and rich flavour. It’s warming and bold β€” and somehow, that boldness made me think about bravery, too.

When I think about the bold and brave decisions I've made in my life, moving to Canada definitely comes to mind. Skydiving, getting married, having children, and opening my own tea shop were all big decisions that took some courage, too.

But the more I think about bravery, the more I realize that it doesn't always have to be about big life decisions.

Sometimes, bravery can be much quieter.
It might mean saying something that is difficult to say to a family member or a friend.
It might mean standing up for what you believe is right, even when it isn't easy.
Thinking about this teaching has made me look at bravery a little differently.
Maybe we all have our own small moments of bravery in everyday life.

🌿 Until Next Week

I hope this week’s tea gives you a little moment to slow down and enjoy.
I’ll be back next week with the next tea in our Kebaonish Tea Journey.

See you next week for Tea #5. 🍡
