Shin-Cha literally means "New Tea". In Japan, we have the tradition of celebrating Shincha, the first tea of the year, also known as Ichiban-cha.
This particular "Farmer's Shincha' is "Aracha" rough tea. It means less processed Tea. Aracha tea that Japanese Tea farmers have been enjoying for centuries to celebrate their new tea season. They are so nice to share with CHA CHA TEA customer. It's available only at this harvest season – just once a year!
